Addis Ababa need to enhance export trade employing modern trade system

Addis Ababa, – (WIC) – The Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (AACCSA) said that the country should enhance export trade through modern trade mechanism.
Chamber Deputy Secretary General Teferi Asfaw told WIC today that pursuing modern trade system would help to make local produces get acceptance in overseas market apart from beefing up foreign trade.
AACCSA invited investors from India, Yemen, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, among others so as to introduce modern trade system to the business community here, he indicated.
The chamber is also working in accordance with the development strategy designed by the government focusing on facilitating market conditions for export items and services, Teferi further indicated.
AACCSA has been briefing foreign business communities about the conducive trade and investment situations in the country, he indicated, adding that this would have immense contributions towards raising the number of investors coming here.
It has also forged close ties with the country’s trade destinations such as China, India, Germany, Libya and the Netherlands so as to foster the trade exchange, the Deputy Secretary General concluded. waltainfo
