The Latest Platform of Ares Continues to Offer Full Functionality With Even the Latest Version of Windows.

El Cerrito, CA (PRWEB) — Ares Vista has been introduced to provide true compatibility with Windows 7. Other versions of Ares are not compatible with Windows 7 making Vista a necessity for continued higher-grade file sharing.

“Ares Vista was originally released in June 2008, but since March 2009 we’ve introduced new connectivity features to improve the performance of Ares Vista with Windows 7,” says David Nettles, Director of Communications for Espressivo Media (<a href="http://aresvista.com/"target="blank" rel='nofollow'>http://aresvista.com). “Users are reporting seamless integration with the new windows software which is exactly our goal for the program.”

Ares is P2P file-sharing software that allows you to share MP3, video, images and other media files with other Ares users globally. The program combines a user-friendly interface with fast downloads to appeal to a vast market of P2P users. By utilizing content filters, Ares Vista provides only relevant search results and to avoid malicious downloads.

Originally developed in 2002, all previous versions of Ares shared the same network, communications protocol and user base. However, the Windows Vista operating system interferes with all previous versions of Ares making them unusable. While some P2P programs instruct users to turn off Vista’s increased security measures to access the program, Ares Vista has developed an alternative method of access that leaves security instruments in place.

“We’re proud to be the best choice for Windows 7,” says Nettles, “By introducing Ares Connect as part of Ares Vista, our users have perfect connectivity with the benefits of Window’s increased security as well.”

For additional information about Ares Vista, contact David Nettles at Espressivo Media Inc. or visit <a href="http://aresvista.com/"target="blank" rel='nofollow'>http://aresvista.com/.

About Espressivo Media Inc.
Founded in 1999, Espressivo Media is responsible for programs such as Ares Vista and Ares Connect, two of the most prominent file-sharing platforms available today. Espressivo Media works hard to stay one step ahead of current technology to offer programs users need when they need them.

By using wave-energy to bring up nutrient-rich ocean, Atmocean’s pumps stimulate growth of plankton which absorb more CO2 and are the primary food source to restore ocean fish populations.

Santa Fe, NM (PRWEB) — ATMOCEAN’S (<a href="www.atmocean.com"target="blank" rel='nofollow' rel='nofollow'>www.atmocean.com) ocean wave-energy pump technology is featured at The Copenhagen Climate Exchange (<a href="www.cphco2009.dk"target="blank" rel='nofollow'>www.cphco2009.dk) in Copenhagen December 3-6, 2009 under the theme “More Fish – Less CO2”.

In his presentation scheduled for 6pm on Thursday, December 3 at Oksnehallen Conference Hall in downtown Copenhagen, Atmocean CEO Philip Kithil will explain how the Company’s ocean pumps bring up nutrient-rich water from 125 meters deep, to increase the growth of plankton. More plankton naturally absorb CO2 while providing more food for ocean fish. The technology closely mimics natural upwelling, does not add any foreign material or chemical to the ocean, is low cost, and can be scaled quickly to return the global oceans to their pre-industrial condition.

Atmocean – featured in the Discovery Channel program “Hungry Ocean” which premiered in September 2008 – is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA, and has conducted ocean testing from port cities worldwide, including Galveston, Texas; St. Georges, Bermuda; San Diego, Long Beach, and Santa Barbara California; and Honolulu, Hawaii; with plans for Ensenada, Mexico and Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Spain.

By commencing pump deployment in 2010, Atmocean will measure and quantify any side effects, while verifying ocean absorption of about 35 tons more CO2 and increase in fish populations of 1,000 kg annually achieved by each ocean pump.

Atmocean intends to manufacture its pumps in host countries worldwide to maximize the economic benefits – generating thousands of jobs, reviving the ocean fishing industry, improving port utilization, and helping the host country offset its CO2 emissions while maintaining economic growth. According to Kithil, “This unilateral approach can greatly accelerate tangible mitigation of climate change and global warming, and could spur multilateral and international actions, as host countries employing Atmocean pumps gain competitive advantages against the laggards.”

According to Dr. Brian Von Herzen, Executive Director of The Climate Foundation (<a href="http://www.climatefoundation.org"target="blank" rel='nofollow'>www.climatefoundation.org), “It is imperative that we utilize technologies such as those developed by Atmocean to restore fisheries and keep them at sustainable levels, while investigating these techniques to safely and effectively sequester gigatons of carbon, as Nature has done for the past 3 billion years.”

For more information, please visit the Company website <a href="http://www.atmocean.com"target="blank" rel='nofollow' rel='nofollow'>www.atmocean.com, or contact Philip W. Kithil, telephone 505-310-2294.

P2V is a 2 Megapixel camera. The most innovative perspective option for the P2V is its unique stand. Featuring a weighted base and three movable joints, the P2V can be mounted to point in most any direction and angle, and at most any height. With the P2V, the user enjoys an unparalleled level of perspective customization.

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) — IPEVO, Inc., an Internet-based technology company, has just announced the global commercial launch of its newest product – the Point to View, or P2V, USB Web Camera.

The Point to View Camera is designed to provide a limitless range of video capture and perspective options for the user. Borrowing from IPEVO’s first web camera, the successful Point of View, or PoV, the P2V features a writing instrument-style body along with an ergonomic grip. This allows the user to grasp the camera itself for full, omnidirectional video capture functionality. Additionally, the P2V comes with a universal monitor clip. The P2V can be mounted to this clip and then attached to any standard laptop screen or computer monitor for a traditional video chat perspective.

Perhaps the most innovative perspective option for the P2V, however, is its unique stand. Featuring a weighted base and three movable joints, the P2V can be mounted to point in most any direction and angle, and at most any height. With the P2V, the user enjoys an unparalleled level of perspective customization.

“We were looking into building a new webcam and we looked into the fundamental behavior of video conferencing,” explained Royce Hong, IPEVO’s CEO and lead designer. “From my own experience from my video calls, we came to realize that what people want to share during video calls may not just be images of themselves, but their ‘point of view’ as well.”

The Point to View is a 2 Megapixel camera, and features a macro mode for capturing subjects from as close as 2 inches away. Autofocus also comes standard on the camera, available either with the touch of a button or on a continual basis, depending on user needs and preference.

Also included with the P2V is an easy-to-use custom software application. Toggling between three distinct modes, users can take, refine, save, and organize snapshots from the camera. Users can also display the P2V’s video in a full screen mode, which can be used as an alternative to digital projection for business presentations and other applications.

With maximum compatibility in mind, the P2V features a USB 2.0 UVC (universal video class) interface, and is fully plug-and-play for both PC and Mac. The P2V is also designed to operate seamlessly with a wide range of popular Instant Messaging applications, including Skype, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, iChat, Yahoo! Messenger, and AOL.

The IPEVO Point to View USB Web Camera is available for $69, exclusively through the company’s online store at <a href="http://store.ipevo.com/"target="blank" rel='nofollow'>http://store.ipevo.com/.

ApexCCTV’s video tutorials provide real value to anyone in the CCTV or Surveillance industry by covering in depth how to accomplish some of the more daunting tasks faced by their customers and business partners. These videos can be broken into several categories:

Product Specific Videos – These videos are specific to individual products in the CCTV industry, and include advanced topics on installation and configuration of these products. GeoVision, AVerMedia, and VivoTek products are covered in depth, for example, as are many others.

These videos cover the networking gamut, including basic network configuration, dealing with router’s, IP addressing, DHCP servers, avoiding conflicts with your customers existing NAT settings, DNS and dynamic DNS configuration, and many other topics. These topics all address networking best practices and pitfalls to look out for.

ApexCCTV has also made a public commitment to continue producing these videos and making them available to the industry at no charge whatsoever. There is even a link on the videos page that allows individuals to request a video tutorial covering a topic of their choice, and many such videos have already been produced.

There is a real need for tools like this one.“ states Bryan Hughes, Vice President of System Operations at Tiggee. “Often, web hosting services are set up once and then no one accesses the account for extended periods of time until there is a need to reconfigure something. Suddenly, no one remembers who hosts their website!”

DNS Made Easy first deployed the tool DNS Made Easy support representatives who would then provide clients with the correct hosting information for their domain. The whois listing for a domain displays authoritative name server information about a domain and this caused clients to mistake DNS Made Easy as a web hosting company when they viewed this information. In order to alleviate some of the confusion, DNS Made Easy decided to go public with this tool and provide it to the Internet community free of charge. Now, whether your organization has switched hosting companies, hired a new administrator, or simply needs to update your web site for the first time in years: showmyhost.com can point you in the right direction.
