NEPC Tasks Exporters to Penetrate Overseas Markets Through Trade Fairs: Nigeria

Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has urged exporters to engage in offshore trade fairs and exhibitions, saying it is a veritable tool for penetrating foreign markets with the country’s non-oil products.
Mrs. Modupe Sasore, Special Adviser to the Pre- sident on Export Pro- motion\CEO NEPC, who was represented by Mrs. Omowumi Osibo, DGM, NEPC Lagos Zonal office at the one-day national workshop tagged: “Effective par- ticipation in international trade fairs and exhibitions,” said the growth of the Asian economy was attributable to their outward oriented (export promotion) policies, while stressing that the workshop was aimed at ensuring the right knowledge and technical skill required for successful exporting is imparted to both existing and potential exporters.
